When is Playlist Live 2014 and where is it located?

March 21, 22 and 23 at the Caribe Royale All-Suite Hotel & Convention Center in Orlando, Florida.

Do I need to register ahead of time?

Yes, we only have a limited number of reservations for Playlist Live available. We sold out way before the event last year, so act fast!

What do the different types of tickets mean?

Standard Pass: This one is the most popular! It gives you access to all Playlist Live events on Saturday & Sunday (including meetups, the expo hall, and the main stage). It does not include access to any of the Business Day or Insight Track events.

Business Insight Pass: This pass gives you full access to all Playlist Live events on Saturday & Sunday (including meetups, the expo hall, and the main stage), plus Business Day on Friday and the Insight Track panel and workshop sessions on Saturday & Sunday. This one is for people who want to learn about the online video industry and network with other people in the space.

Parent Pass: This one gives you access to a to a parents-only lounge in addition to all Playlist Live events on Saturday & Sunday (including meetups, the expo hall, and the main stage).

What do the upgrades mean?

The Pro Pack Upgrade: THIS UPGRADE IS SOLD OUT. THE LINE PASS IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. This upgrade turns your Standard Pass into a Standard Pass with a Line Pass. The Line Pass gives you entry into a shorter, quicker line for all meetups. Only a limited number are available. It also comes with everything you’ll need to be a pro Playlist Live attendee! You must already have purchased a pass to be able to upgrade.

The Business Pack Upgrade: If you’ve already bought your Standard, Insight or Parent pass but decide later that you want to attend Business Day, this upgrade turns your pass into a Business Insight Pass. It gives you access to Business Day and the Insight Track in addition to all of the events on Saturday & Sunday. You must already have purchased a pass to be able to upgrade.

Can I cancel my registration and get a refund?

Yes, you can cancel your registration and receive a full refund until Friday, February 28, 2014 at 11:59 PM EST. You will be charged a 5% processing fee. No refunds will be given after February 28.

If you would like to cancel your registration, email help@playlist-live.com and include your order number and billing email address.

Can I modify the information on my badge / registration?

You can update your attendee information until February 28, 2014. After February 28, no changes will be allowed.

Will my pass be mailed to me?

No, you will pick up your pass at registration when you arrive at the event. You will receive an email confirming your order shortly after your purchase. Hold on to this email and confirmation number, you’ll need it to pick up your pass!

When will the merchandise I purchased with my pass be mailed to me?

You will receive your merchandise about a month before the event, so February 2014.

What information do I need to get into Playlist once I’m there?

You’ll need your order confirmation number OR a photo-ID to pick up your pass.

Do I have to be a certain age to attend?

There is no age limit to attend Playlist Live. You do have to be 18 or older to check into the Caribe Royale hotel if you are staying there overnight as a guest, so plan ahead!

Do my parents need a ticket if they are just coming to supervise?

Your parents are totally allowed to hang out at the hotel, but they will not be allowed into the expo hall, meetups, panels, or main stage area unless they have a ticket. We have a Parent Pass that gets them into everything a Standard Pass does, plus access to a parents-only lounge!

Do I have to stay at the Caribe Royale?

You don’t have to, but you should! All of the Playlist Live events are on-site.

Is [insert my favorite person's name here] going to be at Playlist Live?!

It’s very possible! You can check out our Lineup page for confirmed guests, but it’s impossible to list every awesome person that will be attending Playlist Live. Ask them on Twitter if they’re coming to be sure! :)

How do I get to Playlist?

Is there airport transportation for attendees?

Unfortunately no. Cab rides and car services are available from the airport at all times.

Can I volunteer at Playlist Live?

We are only accepting volunteers to help during the weeks leading up to the event in mid-March. You must be 18 years old or order to volunteer. If you live in Orlando and would like to volunteer, please contact us at help@playlist-live.com. Please note that as a volunteer you will not be guaranteed access to the event.

Can I perform / appear / do a meetup / speak on a panel at Playlist Live?

You can apply to participate in Playlist Live by filling out the application on our apply page. We get a lot of submissions, so please be patient and only apply once!

I applied to appear at Playlist Live. Was my application accepted?

We get a lot of submissions, so please be patient during the review process. The deadline to apply is December 15, 2013. You will be notified if you are selected by January 6, 2014.

Can I go to Disney World?

The hotel is a mile and half from Walt Disney World, and only 10 miles from Universal Studios (anyone up for the Wizarding World of Harry Potter?). The hotel offers complimentary scheduled transportation to all four Walt Disney World theme parks and the Downtown Disney area!
